Great Neck Baseball Academy

July 7th

5:00-6:30pm: 9U and 10U, GNBL  Field 4 (check in begins at 4:45pm)

6:45-8:15pm: 13U and 14U, GNBL Field 2 (check in begins at 6:30pm)

July 8th

6:00-7:30pm: 11U and 12U, GNBL Field 1 (check in begins at 5:45pm)

This program is geared to those players who can play at a higher level and are ready for more team fundamentals and structured, focused training to hone individual skills and development. The Great Neck Baseball Academy has partnered with Hampton Roads Sports Academy to offer our players elite training and instruction.

Teams will be available for ages 9u, 10u, 11u, 12u, 13u, and 14u. Players will be evaluated for GN Academy teams via a one day tryout at GNBL for Fall 2021.

The Fall 2021 season will run from August 12-November 14. The season will consist of five doubleheaders on alternating Sundays with practices on off game day weekends. A potential warm up tournament and in-season tournaments may be played at discretion of individual teams.

Practices  will be held on any combination of Thursday, Friday, and/or Sundays (non game days).  In the event of inclement weather, practices on Friday's will be moved to the indoor training facility, however on Sunday's there is no guarantee for practice or game make ups due to field availability. If a game is rained out, every attempt will be made to reschedule the game for a later date and time. Sunday practices will not be rescheduled.

GN Academy Team players are required to register at www.gnbaseball.org. Players are responsible to pay $150 per month or $600 for the fall in order to participate. In addition, credit card payments though the site require an additional $4.50 per month for credit card fees (total $18.00). Sports Engine, which operates the website, also charges a $1 service fee per transaction. Prior to the start of the academy season, players must register and pay for GNBL recreation baseball. Recreation baseball play is optional in the fall season.

Additional fees and monies may be collected throughout the season for tournaments and umpires when playing away games. Players will also be required to purchase team uniforms via the team store.
